FAQ’s
Q. Do I need to own a Rover to join the Rover Car Club of South Australia?
A. No! The Club is open to enthusiasts of the Rover, but ownership of a Rover is not a prerequisite. Owners of Rover vehicles such as Land Rovers are welcome, however club events do not generally include ‘off road’ or ‘adventure’ touring.
Q. What are the benefits of joining the Rover Car Club of South Australia?
A. There are numerous benefits offered to members of the RCCSA. The Club can provide classic vehicle registration under the CVRS, and has experienced members who can provide support and assistance in the ownership of your Rover. As a member you will receive a copy of the Club’s monthly publication ‘Roverdrive’ and access the publication and more on the website. You will be welcome at the monthly meetings that often include an interesting presentation by a visiting guest speaker, and you will have access to the extensive Club library held in the Club rooms. You will also be provided with the Club Handbook, an extensive folder for members only that provides information on vehicles, members contacts, vehicle identification, parts and support, and details relating to CVRS.
Members can also select from a range of RCCSA regalia to purchase, and can advertise to buy and sell cars or parts, free of charge, in Roverdrive magazine or on the website. The Club has a busy social calendar with Club runs held monthly, away weekends and invitations and attendance at combined club and car displays such as All British Day, the McLaren Vale Vintage and Classic and Historic Vehicle Gathering. All members and their family are welcome. Full membership also includes a nominated family associate membership.
Q. Can the Club provide Historic Vehicle Registration for my car?
A. Yes! The RCCSA is a member of the Federation of Historic Motoring Clubs of SA and has the authority through the Conditional Vehicle Registration Scheme to provide Historic registration for your vehicle if it meets the requirements of the scheme.

Q. Can the Club provide assistance to vehicle owners?
A. Yes! The Club will provide you with a list of assistance contacts who will be willing to share their vast knowledge and experience with fellow Rover owners. The Club can also provide some spares and information on parts purchase.
Q. Are all of the Club benefits accessible by all members?
A. Yes! And to your nominated family member. All of the benefits of Club membership are available to you as soon as you join.
